Reports are often the most valuable part of any
system. The reports transform the raw data entered into a system into finished
information.
Business Information Manager: For Accounting
The Report Selection Screen form provides a
single interface form which to print all reports. Reports are grouped into
categories for easy grouping and locating. Any reports you have created through
the Report List will appear here and be available for printing.
Company information you entered into the Company
Setup form is printed on reports to give a consistent look to the reports. You
can also add additional items such as a company logo.
Many reports allow you to select a date range,
enter optional titles or select from various criteria to further limit the data
displayed in the report. We include a powerful date selection function that
allows you to select from preset date ranges such as Today, This Week, This
Year, Last Quarter, etc... You can also enter your own date range, if desired.
The Criteria option is another powerful function
built into the Reports system that allows you to select specific data to use
when running reports. For example, when running a report for Monthly Invoice
Total by Customer, you may want to run the report for all customers, or
only for a selected customer. Selecting the Customer criteria option
provides you with the flexibility to make this choice when printing the report.
When you create your own reports, you can define
and add your own criteria options to the report if desired.
